Art was bred and is owned by our dear friend, Steve Rusnak. We met Steve and his family when they were looking for an older dog. They took Holly, a two-year-old female, home that day. We became friends. After a year or two, I contacted them to see if they were interested in providing foster care for one of my very best female pups. They agreed. Several months later they came to return her. Beth, their daughter, had the biggest tears in her eyes because she did not want to give the pup back. So, Cleo got to stay with Steve's family on a breeding contract. A few years later, Art and Josie were born and joined my kennel. As luck would have it, Art was getting picked on by his kennel mate, so Steve decided to steal, oops, I mean adopt, Art. Over the years, Steve and his wife Lil have become our best friends and we enjoy talking about dogs over dinners and get togethers. Steve is an amature photographer with a natural tallent.
