Developed in 1993 at Valkyrie Kennels, the longhair Blue is a striking combination of the short hair blue and the longhair gray Weimaraner. Possessing a gentle disposition, the longhair blue provides a loving companion for those who enjoy a coated dog. This unusual solid color and coat combination does not exist in any other breed. Although these dogs are AKC registered Weimaraners, Valkyrie Kennels has established a separate registry to record the breeding and ownership of these dogs.
