We were truly lucky when we received a call from a dear friend in Pennsylvania saying that she had found a lovely, large blue male Weim, living in a rabbit hutch, and she wanted us to see him. We had been trying to get an exceptional blue breeding male for over 7 years. Well, needless to say, we were so impressed, we just had to have this dog. About a year later, Duke moved in and made himself right at home. He has been a wonderful addition to our breeding program. His pups are superior and we have kept several. They are outgoing with good conformation and do exceptionally well in obedience. If you get a chance to visit, you will see Duke jump from a standing position in his run to about six feet off the ground. Boing! Boing! Boing! He loves to jump. Duke also carries the longhair gene and we were able to keep one of his longhair blue females.
