We received a call from a woman in Pensylvania asking us to rescue a Weim that she had purchased for breeding. The dog was too shy and she didn't want to keep it. She also mentioned that she didn't have time for her other Weim, an eleven-month-old female, she was more interested in horses, and wanted us to buy her when we picked up the rescue. So, we drove out, took a look at her breeding Weim and fell in love with Tammy. We brought both dogs home. Tammy has more of the current show dog look without being too overdone. We began her show training only to find that she was terrified of male judges. Nothing we did would help. So, she was retired from the show ring and has become one of our house dogs. We kept Tammy's pup, Copa, and he is becoming quite the man. He was bred to Pepper and the pups look promising.
